Flashgap is a social sharing app that allows friends to gather their best photos from events the next day at 12pm in a friendly album.
In order to provide our services, we collect certain information from you when you register and interact with our Services.
For a basic Flashgap account, we simply need to collect a name and a profile picture. As well as your Facebook friend list.
Account information: When you first launch Flashgap, you may sign in using Facebook. We will then create a profile using your Facebook name and profile picture.
Contact book: We may, with your consent, collect information from your device's phonebook. We do this so that you can find friends on Flashgap with your phonebook contacts. You can always revoke this consent by changing the settings on your device.Phone number: When launching Flashgap versions released before October 2016, you will be required to provide a valid phone number This process is to avoid improper activity on your account and in Flashgap. Only verified phone numbers can use Flashgap’s services. This information if useful to invite other user to albums and on the app.
We use this information for the purposes described below:
Flashgap services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information of a child under 13, we will delete all the information (account, pictures, albums…).
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information. Please be aware, however, that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.
